Yassir Mushir

Yassir’s experiences in life have directly influenced his passion for art and architecture. He is drawn to simplicity, functionality, and the use of natural materials in the designs he works on.

Growing up in Iraq, Yassir had the privilege of being surrounded by some of the most elegant and beautiful ancient architecture and art, which inspired him to pursue a career in architecture. His time in high school in Germany and India exposed him to European and Southeast Asian architecture, further enriching his understanding of the field. For the past seven years, Yassir has lived in Idaho, where he completed his undergraduate studies at the College of Idaho, earning a Bachelor's degree in Geology and Environmental Studies. Currently, he is attending the University of Idaho’s graduate school, pursuing a master’s degree in Art and Architecture. In his free time, Yassir enjoys golfing, hiking, camping, and fly-fishing.
